Words cannot describe how I'm feeling right now. I'm ecstatic that Obama won!!! It has been eight looong years.

Yes, I voted. Thus, I'm proud to admit that I was one of the many people who contributed in helping this man become president.

At this moment, we just changed the course of American history. The possibilities are endless. America never ceases to amaze me. :-)

Four words: I'm done with men.

I spent my New Year's Eve with a whole bunch of friends at Adina's. I got to see Nicole and her boyfriend John, and they're so cute together. I kinda wished that one person (who I had dated for a month) was with me, but being with my friends made it easier. Anyway, there was music and dancing! I must say that counting down was the best part.  

I feel that 2008 is gonna be special. Maybe it's because it's the year of the Rat again. That was the year I was born under according to the Chinese Zodiac. I have no doubt that it will be better than 2007. At least I know the people who I'm close to, and I realize that I'm so lucky to have them in my life.

My new year's resolution is to just be happy on my own, and not rely on someone (especially a guy) to make me happy. One way of discovering myself is finding what makes me happy and doing what makes me feel good. I got to hang out with a lot of my friends over the Winter break, since I haven't seen them in a while. So far, I'm doing well. 

No, I'm not swearing off guys. I couldn't do that although that idea sounds appealing to me right now. I'm just gonna wait and see what happens. Maybe I'll meet someone I like, but I know I'm not ready to date yet. I need time to focus on my life at the moment.
